Meix means "a Close of Trees". This plot is located in the village, with a west exposure. It is located under the town hall, facing west and sheltered from north winds. This land receives little morning sun but has a concentration of heat in the afternoon because of its orientation. In the bottom of the vineyard the soil is generous; while the top is stonier.
Characteristics of the wine:
The wines are well balanced between richness and minerality. This Meursault lets hints of butter and brioche appear with aromas of ripe yellow fruit. A charming wine. |
